Small town diner, fine for generic food like eggs, a burger, etc...dont expect any culinary genius or gourmet and you'll enjoy it.

Food was really good. The staff were friendly and our waitress was attentive.

This restaurant is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a decent dinner, this restaurant comes immediately to my mind. very good and diverse food and a large list of dishes.helpful staff members, and great vibes. Not less important, the pay is modest. I suggest this spot with no hesitation.

First and last time here. Decor is so so, a little outdated but cute. Waitress was a young woman who i feel is new to serving tables, because her attitude showed she was new to this. Me and my girlfriend placed our order, her order, 2 eggs scrambled well, with crispy bacon, home fries with onion, and rye toast. My order mushroom and Swiss omelet, with side of scrapple, no toast. My girlfriend's order, bacon came out limp as hell, eggs were over cooked and toast was buttered and soggy. My order, the slice of scrapple was so thin for the price they charged was highway robbery, swiss cheese smelled and tasted like it turned. You ask for ketchup and get packets. Waitress didn't check on us for 20 min. Sad service, sad food. Save your money and stomach from this place.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly people and great service, very good food.

Food is usually pretty good. Good selection of common and local comfort foods. Sometimes wish the food came out while hotter, other times it's just right. Great salad bar feature. Friendly staff.

Nice staff, overall food was not great but not bad either. I looked at salad bar and although it looked fresh, not too big selection, so I didnt get that. I started w soup & salad (included w my meal), soup tastes like it was from a can & salad was saturated w dressing & had hard croutons from store bought bag. Then I had the cheese ravioli & meatballs w mozzarella, there was a little less sauce and more cheese than I like and the meatballs didn't taste homemade, but all was good overall. My husband had broiled combo, said it was good, he never complains. Got piece of cake to go, it is from a bakery in New York I was told, so hoping it's a s tasty as it looks, Boston Cream Pie. If more things were home made, I would've given 4 stars (ex. croutons and meatballs are easy to make and can really elevate the food).

Food was great and service good. However haven’t been there since covid. They are open now for takeout.

We tried this place several times. The food is decent although not very consistent. My big problem with the place is the salad bar. The salad bar is not lavish by any means, merely adequate. The owners wife stares at everything you are taking at the salad bar and basically makes frowns faces If she feels you are taking something that makes her unhappy. She looks like she is going to have a nervous breakdown. I like a large salad and that was one of the reasons we chose the restaurant. If the owners don’t want customers to help themselves to the salad bar, the restaurant should offer premade salads to the customers. A large container of takeout soup was $14.95 cents so I am not feeling at all sorry for these people! We have found many more gracious diners with salad bars and no longer go there.

Good food a little pricey

We love it here! The staff is always super sweet and on point. The owner is as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. Great food, speedy service, love love love 😍

I always get really good food there and great service except for one meal. There hot roast beef platter seem like it was just sliced lunchmeat, not much taste at all.

Pennsburg Diner was very good. Service was good & the food was delicious. Prices not bad & waitress very friendly. Go place to go with a group.

This is a really place to catch a quick, reasonably priced meal. I belong to a group and we have breakfast there once a month. The waitresses are always very friendly and attentive and the food is always good.

service was ok, the waitress was a little annoying cause she came back way to often. It seemed as if she was trying to get rid of us.

Their food is okay. I had chicken breast topped with mushrooms which was very good. Their chicken croquettes are good but unfortunately, they were placed on top of fake mashed potatoes. Not real potatoes- the powdered kind. That's just gross. Their salad bar needs more salad fixens! No soup. No red beets. Hardly any selections. The waitress was okay. Seemed bothered when we needed things. Oh well. I will give this place another visit.

Clean with good service. The food is hit or miss. Nothing is bad, it is diner food. My greek omelette was runny and bland. Almost no olives or feta to speak of, second time same twice for this order. Other items I've ordered have been well prepared and tasty.

Only had a quick burger.It was cooked right and tasted good .The waitress was great, friendly and happy.

The flavor of the onion soup was fine. It must be a favorite because it was out almost instantly. I ate at the “old” Pennsburg Diner as a child and was expecting some of the same food. It’s just like every other diner in this part of the state with oversized, colorful, laminated pages with the same stuff. The men’s room toilet seat would not stay up.

The servers are very friendly and the food is very good every time I go there especially the French toast

We always enjoy eating at the Pennsburg Diner. Their salad bar is my favorite; always fresh and clean. The service is always fast and the waitresses come to our table frequently to see if we need anything.

Really enjoyed it. I had the Gyro platter, friends had the chopped steak and Hamburger and everything was excellent. Salad bar was above expectations and ice tea was perfect.I was here a couple of years back and hesitated to return Many improvements!!!!!
